Indian Creek rolls to big win over Beaver Local
WINTERSVILLE — The Indian Creek girls basketball team rolled past visiting Beaver Local on Monday night, 59-14.
The Redskins were led by 19 points from McKenna Scott, while Kaydence Walker tallied 14.
Edison sweeps Panthers
RICHMOND — After defeating the Panthers on the road during the first week of the season, Edison’s girls basketball squad made it a season sweep of the Panthers with a 52-36 victory over Buckeye Local at home on Monday.
Sophia Henderson tallied 20 points while Abby Carpenter had 17 points.
Maddy Roset led Buckeye Local with 10 points, Alyssa Dailey tallying eight.

STEUBENVILLE — The Big Red girls basketball team dropped a 71-36 decision to undefeated Marietta on Monday night.

Big Red splits
STEUBENVILLE — The Big Red swim team split a meet with Linsly on Monday, the girls defeating the Cadets 149-87, while Linsly’s boys team topped Steubenville’s 198-43.
Weir, OG take on EL
EAST LIVERPOOL — Host East Liverpool topped visiting Weir High and Oak Glen in a tri on Monday, while the Golden Bears defeated the Red Riders.
On the girls side, Weir was victorious against both the Potters and Golden Bears and East Liverpool topped Oak Glen.

CCHS tops JCC
STEUBENVILLE — In a battle of local private institutions, Catholic Central defeated Jefferson County Christian 60-24 on Saturday.
Some 13 different players got on the scoresheet for Central, led by 12 points from Benji Rook and 10 from Noah Irvin.
The Royals were led by Wyatt Hervey with eight.
