Big Red’s Manning headed to Malone

Big Red senior Aydan Manning became the latest Big Red baseball product to take his talents to Malone University on Thursday morning, signing his letter of intent to continue his academic and baseball careers with the Pioneers. Manning, a three-year letter winner for coach Fred Heatherington’s club as a pitcher and outfielder, will join coach Tom Crank’s ball club and major in biomedical science. He is currently hitting .357 for Big Red with eight RBI’s through the first 10 games this season, while going 2-1 with 2-1 with a 3.57 ERA and 17 strikeouts on the mound.
