Weir High soccer tops Creek
WINTERSVILLE--The Weir High girls soccer team continued its unbeaten streak to start the season, pulling away from Indian Creek on the road on Saturday afternoon for a 4-1 win to move to 3-0-2.
The Red Riders got goals from four different players, as Madelyn Cramer. Olivia Baker, Reagan Hoover and Jaidyn Kelly each found the back of the net.
Baker and Kaelyn Engle added assists for Weir High, while Rayna Hoover made four saves in goal.
Danica Frisinger had the lone goal for the Redskins, while Destiny Ratkovich made 16 saves in goal for Creek.
The Red Riders are back in action on Tuesday, hosting Beaver Local.
Indian Creek is also in action on Tuesday, traveling to Oak Glen.
Big Red Boosters to meet
STEUBENVILLE -- The Big Red Boosters Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the Cartledge Field House. All are welcome. Memberships are available.
