WEIRTON -- Five Blue Dons reached double-digits as the Madonna boys basketball team's offense put up 91 points Thursday night to top Beallsville and improve to 3-1 on the season.
Anthony Mascio led the way for coach George Vargo's club with 20 points, while Luke Amaismeier netted 14 points, Evan Bone 13 points, Santino Arlia 11 and Matt Amaismeier 10.
Madonna made 39 shots from the floor and went 9 of 12 at the line.
The Blue Dons scored at least 21 points in all four quarters, opening a 26-18 lead after one and leading 47-32 at the break before scoring 54 points in the second half.
Brendan Louden had a game-high 23 points for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Dons are set to host Oak Glen on Tuesday.

Golden Bears top Wheeling Central
NEW MANCHESTER -- The Oak Glen girls basketball team picked up a big win in its last game before the break, topping Wheeling Central 56-38 at home Thursday night.
Alexus Greenlief led the way for the Golden Bears with 18 points, while Sarah Brown netted 13 points and Carson Barr tallied nine.
Oak Glen opened a 14-12 lead after one and pulled away in the second to lead 30-21 at halftime.
Wheeling Central was led by 10 points from Keria Wilkinson.
The Golden Bears travel to Big Red during the Watt/Nese Classic on Wednesday.
