POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. – The rough season for the Oak Glen football team continued Saturday afternoon.

Point Pleasant, ranked No. 3 in the West Virginia Class AAA rankings, scored 19 points in the first quarter and cruised to a 50-0 victory over the visiting Golden Bears.

Cody Mitchell scored four touchdowns for the Big Blacks – three on passes from Aden Yates of 40, 10 and 22 yards and on a 65-yard punt return with 11:34 left in the first half. That score made it 27-0.

The Golden Bears finished with 55 yards of total offense and five first downs.

Point Pleasant had 503 yard of offense and did not punt.

Oak Glen (0-9) hosts Magnolia to end the season next week.
