I am writing to formally express my strong endorsement of Carlo Capaldi for the position of city manager of Steubenville.
Capaldi has devoted more than three decades of exemplary service to the city of Steubenville, including his distinguished tenure as a firefighter and fire chief.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of our community. His extensive experience within city operations has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of how our municipal systems function and how to effectively navigate and improve them.
Importantly, Capaldi is not seeking this position for personal advancement or compensation, but rather out of a genuine desire to continue serving his community and to give back to the city that has been such a central part of his life and his career. His dedication, professionalism and deep institutional knowledge make him uniquely qualified to guide Steubenville forward with vision and stability.
I am confident that under Capaldi's leadership, the city would be well-positioned for continued growth, accountability and progress.
