To the editor:
I've been trying to meet with our U.S. representative, Mike Rulli, to explain why he should support HB 25 -- the National Retail Sales Tax Bill (also known as the Fair Tax Act of 2025) for a year, but with no success.
His staff tells me his schedule during the August recess is full and he can't work me in, but his two district offices tell me they don't know anything about his schedule. He's in the district for the whole month of August, but no town hall meetings or appearances are scheduled?
What gives? Do you only get access if you are a major donor to the campaign? If you know him, would you please ask him to meet with me?
