The Steubenville primary election will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. It is my honor to recommend Ralph Petrella for the position of Mayor for the City of Steubenville. I have known Ralph for 20 years, on both a personal and professional level. Ralph has consistently impressed me with his understanding and respect for everybody he encounters. His integrity and leadership will be a great addition to the City of Steubenville.

Ralph has demonstrated a strong commitment to local community development, fiscal responsibility and public service. He is a volunteer with the Jefferson County Juvenile Task Force and with Our Place Senior Community. Additionally, he has been a tireless advocate for locally owned small businesses. Ralph possesses a unique ability to motivate people through his disciplined work ethic as a strength and wellness trainer. He is currently a D1 strength coach who runs the strength and conditioning program at Syna Strength and Wellness Center where he offers performance training for adults and youth. Petrella is also the current strength and conditioning coach for Wheeling University.

Ralph can communicate very effectively with the public. He is also committed to transparency and understanding the needs of our community. I am impressed by Ralph’s accomplishments that set him apart from the other candidate. Petrella is youthful and has a strategic vision for the future of Steubenville and understands the current challenges.

I am confident that Ralph’s leadership and dedication will make him an exceptional candidate for mayor. He has the insight, integrity and work ethic to serve the residents of Steubenville. I wholeheartedly endorse Ralph Petrella’s candidacy and urge you, as either a registered democrat or republican, to request a republican ballot. It is your privilege to vote. This is the only chance you have at electing the City of Steubenville’s next mayor.
