In the general context, the word derangement means a disturbance or disruption in the mental or physical state. Accordingly, this word is now included when defining and diagnosing those of us who did not vote for President Donald Trump and who do not support him and his policies. Apparently, we suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome which, if you ask Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is probably considered an epidemic.

For your consideration as to one form of mental derangement, I would like to submit the Easter holiday greeting posted online by the leader of the free world. It seems to start out normal enough:

“Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! Whether you are heading out to Church or, watching Service from home, may this day be filled with Peace and Joy for all who celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!!”

It was a beautiful sentiment, yet a short time later, the greeting continued:

“Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well known MS-13 gang members and Wife Beaters back into our country.

Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our nation to continue, an attack so violent it will never be forgotten!

Sleepy Joe Biden purposefully allowed Millions of CRIMINALS to enter this country, totally unvetted and unchecked, through an Open Borders Policy that will go down in history as the single most calamitous act ever perpetrated upon America.

He was, by far, our WORST and most Incompentent President, a man who had no idea what he was doing… But to him, and the person who ran and manipulated the Auto Pen (perhaps our REAL President!) and all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election in order to get this highly destructive Moron Elected, I wish you with great love, sincerity, and affection a very Happy Easter!!!”

His message of love, sincerity, and affection is laughable and I am sure his spin doctors will say that yes, he meant it as a joke. Regardless, this was written by a man who is mentally deranged. For one, our country and the world as a whole have certainly moved well-beyond the 2020 election cycle and the same can be said about the Joe Biden presidency. After all, Kamala Harris graciously gave a concession speech and not one person attacked the Capitol building when Trump’s election was certified in January.

Additionally, by design of the founding fathers as a system of checks and balances, there are three branches of government: legislative, executive and judicial. I worked alongside many lawyers, magistrates and judges over the years who, in every case, respected, adhered to and upheld the Rule of Law. The president’s loving, sincere and affectionate message to judges and law enforcement officials, those diligently working to insure that every citizen is afforded his right to due process, is not only childish, it is vengeful.

However, in my experience, those who have such disdain for the American justice system are usually: 1) convicted felons; 2) deranged individuals; 3) those with a severe persecution complex. In this case, I believe it is all three.

Since the president chose to post this vitriol at Eastertime, I hope a real Christian in his midst reminds him of the innocent Man who was truly and unjustly persecuted, resulting in death on a cross.
