To the editor:

Thanks to Sen. Sherrod Brown, more Ohioans have access to affordable health care. From capping the cost of insulin to lowering the cost of prescription drugs by voting to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices, Brown has proven to us he will always take on Big Pharma to deliver low costs for Ohioans.

But his challenger in the upcoming Senate election, Bernie Moreno, opposed the bill that has lowered prescription drug prices for Ohioans. Moreno wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which would strip health care access for Ohioans. Ohioans can’t trust Moreno to lower the cost of prescription drugs. He will not stand up for Ohioans and protect our health care.

Brown has proven to us that he will take on drug companies to lower costs for Ohioans. Bernie Moreno has proven he sides with special interests and won’t support real solutions to rising health care costs.

I know Ohioans can trust Sherrod Brown to deliver low costs and access to quality health care. Brown will always fight for what’s best for us while Moreno is out for himself.

That’s why I support Sherrod Brown, and I am proud to vote for him this November.
