To the editor:
Reproductive freedom. Women and men have the freedom to reproduce or not reproduce through the choices they make. But once they have reproduced, once a new life is created, then that life has a right to live.
Science has revealed that a unique human is created at the moment of conception, a life with DNA that is not the same DNA as the mother or father. At every conception a genetically unique person is created, a person never before created in the history of the world and who never will be created in the future.
This life is not part of the mother's body like the mother's lungs or heart. This newly conceived life is a separate person living inside of the mother. That person in the womb was you at an early stage in your life. When the life in the womb is ended at any stage, such as with an abortion, then the life of a unique person is ended, a life that will never be created again.
Let us as a society choose life.
