To the editor:
Having served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, one of my main responsibilities was doing constituent work.
In order for me to settle an estate for a relative, I needed specific information from a department of the federal government. I filed the necessary paperwork, however two pieces were missing. After re-sending those to the proper department nearly a year went by without hearing anything. I then contacted Kaleb Knowlton in Sen. Sherrod Brown's local office. The very next day I received a call from Joseph Henry in Brown's Columbus office.
He asked me for copies of the pertinent papers and said he would get back to me as soon as he could. Within a few weeks I received the papers necessary to settle the estate, which is now in the hands of the attorney for completion. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Brown for making constituent work a priority.
