To the editor:
This letter is in reference to the atrocious condition of Johnson Road, that connects Trinity Medical Center West to Sunset Boulevard.
It has been in a bad state of repair for several months. Simply patching potholes, putting patches over patches and resurfacing segments won't get the job done. A complete resurfacing needs to be done to do the job right.
Many side roads and alleys have been repaved, but an important road like this gets neglected. Emergency vehicles, with patients inside, sure have a rough ride. I am sure that if former Jefferson County Commissioner Thomas Graham was in office, this job would get done. He was an experienced commissioner and did a great job over the years, and may be running for office again. He has my vote and full support.
It seems as though the politicians have their priorities mixed up. We need some action on this, and not just a bunch of patches put down. Let's get the needed job done.
