To the editor:
The 2023 Adena Lions Club Christmas Giving Tree Project was very successful -- 69 children received generous Christmas gifts, and 26 hams were distributed to their families.
Thank you to the Adena Branch of Consumers National Bank, the Harrisville Post Office and Linda's Country Diner in Harrisville for allowing us to place our trees and tags in their facilities and accepting and storing the wrapped gifts, and Figgy's Fuel Mart in Adena for storing the hams until distribution day.
We would also like to thank our local churches, organizations, very generous individuals in our communities and our many Lions Club members who helped make Christmas very special for the children in the community.
