To the editor:

This is the third year of Joe Biden’s America. What is the state of our republic?

Foreign policy was supposed to be one of Biden’s areas of expertise, so how is that working out? The withdrawal from Afghanistan was a disaster. We lost 13 young service personnel. We left billions of dollars of equipment, which is now being used by the Taliban. We left behind Americans and those who helped Americans, while bringing unvetted young men to our country. We have sent billions of dollars to Ukraine with no accounting where the money has been spent. Biden waited several days after the Hamas ambush on Israel to make a statement. He and his administration have been pressuring Israel to ceasefire in Gaza, claiming it is for humanitarian reasons for the Palestinians who live there.

Bidenomics is a failure. Inflation is rampant. The cost of everything has gone up. People cannot afford to buy homes due to increased interest rates. Utility prices have gone up. People are using their credit cards for food and other necessities and only paying the minimum amount. Our retirement accounts have decreased significantly. Many industries have gone on strike, which has contributed to the economic crisis. There are people working two and three jobs just to make ends meet. What kind of life do they have when all they do is work? Biden’s support of the pseudoscience of climate change has also negatively impacted our economy.

How safe are we? Biden’s open border policy has allowed millions of undocumented people to come into our country. Many are infected with communicable diseases. What are their job skills? My grandparents immigrated legally and came through Ellis Island. They came here to work and have a better life. They were medically evaluated and deemed suitable to stay in our country. They worked hard, including the children who worked as soon as they were able. They would never take any help from the government. The illegals who have invaded our country are living off the taxpayers. How are the illegals helping our country? They do not want to live in shelters, but stay in luxury hotels. There have been millions of undocumented persons entering our country and millions of “got aways.” Who are the “got aways?” Are they terrorists? We have no idea who Biden’s open borders have let into our country.

How about Biden? How is his health? His mobility is impaired. He stumbles and falls on many occasions. What about his mental and cognitive functions? He wanders around aimlessly. He mumbles during speeches. His administration claims he is stuttering, but it is not stuttering, it is mumbling. He doesn’t appear to know where he is and who he is with. Why did his relatives give him checks to repay loans when there is no evidence that loans were given? Why does the money trail lead to shell companies and foreign interests?

Can we survive one more year of Biden? We can’t survive five more years.
