To the editor:
I rarely write letters to the newspaper. However, today I would like to take this time to endorse and support Ted Gorman for Steubenville's Fifth Ward council seat.
I have known Gorman for several years and have served alongside him on the board of directors of the United Way of Jefferson County.
Gorman is a "can-do" guy who always is laser focused on getting the job complete and done properly.
That leadership has been very evident in the progress of Steubenville High School as he has served as principal for many years. Steubenville City Schools always are in the top in the state of Ohio and that, in part, is due to his great leadership.
Gorman is a people person and certainly exemplifies the philosophy that "You Win with People." He truly is Steubenville through and through.
I encourage the citizens of the Fifth Ward of Steubenville to vote for a true winner, and my good friend, Ted Gorman. He will do great things in making the Fifth Ward the best it has ever been.
