U.S. is less energy independent

The United States from 1955 to the present has had air and water quality requirements that began as state and local government programs. In 1963, the federal government got involved and more agencies were formed and regulations were imposed, either by congress passing bills or presidents signing executive orders.

During the years, because of more government agencies and regulations, the situation has become either the government workers are going to have a job or industry and workers. We have seen how this has played out.

Global warming and green energy, the No. 1 priority of this administration, in the past two years has cost billions in taxpayer money. The most recent was through the Inflation Reduction Act.

So, who are the countries that are on board with this? This information is from mylifeelesewhere.com. Listed are the top green countries as they compare with the U.S. First is Iceland, with a landmass about 1.7 times smaller than Washington, and a population of 6.4 million less than Washington. Second is Denmark, with a landmass comparable to New York. Denmark's approximate population is 13.5 million, and New York's population approximately 19.4 million.

Third is the Netherlands, which is 16 times smaller than Texas, and has a population approximately 7.9 million fewer people. Fourth is the United Kingdom, which is comparable to Kansas The U.K. has approximately 65.8 million people. Kansas has approximately 62.9 million. Fifth is Finland, which is comparable to California. Finland has approximately 5.6 million people, while California has approximately 31.7 million more. Sixth is France, which is comparable to Texas. France has approximately 42.7 million more people than Texas, which has an approximate population of 25.1 million.

According to www.worlddata.info, energy consumption per kilowatt hour in Iceland is17.6 billion.

Second is Denmark at 33.02 billion. Third is the Netherlands at 108.80 billion. Fourth is the United Kingdom at 309.20 billion. Fifth is Finland at 82.79 billion. Sixth is France at 450.80 billion. Seventh is Germany at 53.5 billion. Eighth is Italy at 293.5 billion. Ninth is Sweden at 133.50 billion. Tenth is South Korea at 507.60 billion.

The United States has the third largest landmass in the world. Our population is around 340 million people and our energy consumption is approximately 3,902.00 billion KWH.

The other countries larger than the U.S. are China and Russia.

Neither are members of global climate organizations, by the way, China is building coal-fired plants and reassembling torn down American plants in their country and they do not have coal as a natural resource.

Our nation has become less energy independent because of bought-and-paid-for politicians, so why exactly are we allowing them to kill this country?
