Miller right for Buckeye board
To the editor:
Buckeye Local residents are fortunate to have Mark Miller running in the Nov. 2 election for the board of education. Mark has deep roots in the community. He is a lifelong resident who has served as a teacher, administrator and now college professor. He possesses the skills necessary to lead our school district into the future.
Miller is greatly admired by his peers not only at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, but across the state of Ohio. During his times as superintendent, Mark oversaw the highest student achievement scores in the Buckeye Local School District history. He also secured multi-million-dollar grants to offer additional school counselors, safety initiatives and after-school tutoring. He has an exceptionally broad educational vision, and is dedicated to helping all students succeed.
He will bring his vision, expertise and dedication to our public schools. I know that he wants every child in our district to have the same support and success. No area of the district will be forgotten. He possesses the characteristics of trust, leadership and courage to lead our district. We’re lucky to have such an outstanding educator seeking election to the Buckeye Local School Board.
On Nov. 2, remember TLC and vote for Mark Miller for school board.
