Betty R. Kavanagh, 82, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away on November 19, 2025. She was born on December 31, 1942, in Logan, WV, to the late Sonny and Zelda Gore. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Kavanagh Sr.; and her siblings, Joe and Louann Gore. Betty was a longtime member of the Women’s Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 557. George E. Williams, 87, of Bloomingdale, passed away Monday afternoon November 17, 2025 at Countrylawn Assisted Living in Navarre, Ohio. Funeral services for George will be Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at noon in Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Green Cemetery near East Springfield. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until noon in the funeral home.
