Chariessa M. ‘Sam’ Coil, 89, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH. Sam was born in the Gault family home, Dec. 10, 1934, in Toronto (Costonia), daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Ethel M. (Still) Gault. She was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson Union HS and attended the former Bray’s Chapel UM Church. Sam held many jobs over the years before retiring from Edison Local School as a cook.
