Lucille Marie (Reck) Best 93 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Trinity Medical Center, Steubenville, OH. Lucille was born on March 16, 1931 in McKinleyville, WV. She was the daughter of the late John Reck and Beatrice (Bensie) Reck. Lucille worked as a cook for 24 years at Bethany School through the Brooke County Board of Education. She is a member of the WV Association of Retired School Employees. Linda Lou (Reeves) Greathouse 83 of Bethany, WV died peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side. Born on November 6, 1940, the daughter of the late Cornelius E. “Blue” and Mary (McGuines) Reeves. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Ann Greathouse. After graduating from Wellsburg High School Linda went on to receive her Bachelor of Elementary Education and Mathematics from West Liberty State College. Donald C. “Russ” Russlee, 75, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at his home. Don was born September 9, 1948, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late George S. and Dorothy A. (Huber) Russlee. He was a 1966 graduate of Toronto High School. After graduation Don went to work at the Hancock Mfg. Plant in Toronto for a short time before getting hired at the Ohio Edison First Energy Sammis Plant in Stratton, OH.
