Born on April 26, 1936, in Morgantown, West Virginia, James was the beloved son of Charles and Lulu Forman Hare. A proud graduate of Morgantown High School, Class of 1954, James continued his studies at West Virginia University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1959.
