Anne Sugar (Rock), 97, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born August 29, 1927, in Czechoslovakia, to the late Paul and Anna (Kentos) Rock. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sugar, Jr. and her brother, George Rock. Surviving are her children, Robert (Marti) Sugar, Cheryl Sugar (the late Thomas Valentine), Michael Sugar and David (Kristin) Sugar; two granddaughters Mary (Cedric) Lerouge and Robin (Peter) Bright; five great grandchildren, Maddy and Alex Lerouge and Chloe, Lily and William Bright; and brother Paul Rock. Shirley M. Linn, 72, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Saturday December 7, 2024 at home. She was born February 20, 1952 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph R. Turick and Betty Mae (Bateman) Turick Utta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Turick Sr. and John Turick. Shirley was a caregiver her entire life. She cared for kids in the neighborhood and ran a daycare. She also cared for various elderly people in the community. She did everything for everybody and will be missed by many. Born on April 8, 1940, in Pennsboro, WV, Paul was the cherished son of Rondle and Bessie Freeland Lambert.
