Rodney Deane Stevens, 71, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, November 2, 2026.
Rodney was born February 24, 1955, in Steubenville, OH son of the late Virgil D. and Patricia A. (Talkington) Stevens.
Outside of spending time with his family, he enjoyed working with his hands. In his free time, he welded and did leatherwork. Most of all he loved being outdoors, hunting and foraging ginseng, morels, and arrowheads.
Surviving are his two daughters, Renee (Adam) Pennell of New Martinsville, WV and Bonnie (Fred) King of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Ethan, Levi, Brady, Wyatt, Hattie, and Madelyn; siblings, Bonita (James) Griffith of Cartersville, GA, Elizabeth Stevens of Weirton, WV, Monnetta Williams of Cartersville, GA, Zane Stevens of Weirton, WV, Steve Stevens of Alvy, WV, Dallas (Carol) Stevens of New Cumberland, WV, and Vernon Stevens of Alvy, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends received 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the Furbee Williams Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Middlebourne, WV. Burial to follow at the convenience of the family.
