Norman “Norm” F. Hardy, 86, of New Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Born on July 25, 1940, in Chester, West Virginia, Norm was the son of the late Paul and Eva Spicer Hardy.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Norm carried his sense of pride and dedication throughout his life. Following his military service, he spent many years working at Weirton Steel, where he later retired as a rigger.

Those who knew him will fondly remember his unmistakable personality and the nickname he proudly carried, “Stormin' Norman.”
In addition to his parents, Norm was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Keith Hardy.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving daughters, Penny Tibbs (Rick) of Weirton and Shannon Geer (Russell) of Chester; his grandchildren, Matthew Waggoner, Tyler Wright, Levi Wright, Shane Geer (Lacy), and Garrett Geer; three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Dave Hardy.
