Florence (Flo) Zobenica Shimko, 95, of Wintersville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord peacefully early in the morning on October 17, 2026. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-gran, great-great grandmother, and friend whose presence will be missed. Florence was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on April 5, 1931, to Sophia and Nicholas Zobenica. She is preceded in death by her parents, her 9 siblings, her first love, Andrew Albert Shimko, her second lifelong partner Millard B. Styer, and her son-in-law Don Scott.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on October 20, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon with Fr. Michael Gossett officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories.
