Clara Rose Morris, 88, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026, surrounded by family who loved her dearly.
Her life was marked by devotion to those she cherished, and her memory will remain forever in their hearts. Clara was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Leonard W. Morris Sr.; her parents, Luna (Edge) Rogers and Cecil W. Rogers; four brothers, Fred, Charles, Marion, and Franklin; three sisters, Ida Mae Frey, Shirley June Solters, and Luna Grace Zink; and several nieces and nephews. Clara will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cynthia Rose Morris of Wintersville, Ohio; Jacquelyn Feryn Morris of West Palm Beach, Florida, and her son, Leonard Worthe Morris, Jr., and Angela Marie (Noss) Morris of Vestavia Hills, Alabama; granddaughters Rachel Marie Morris of West Hollywood, California, and Claire Josephine Morris of San Diego, California; and her sister-in-law, Jeanie Rogers.
For 26 years, Clara poured her creativity, care, and gracious spirit into The Rose by Clara's Catering, a business through which she helped make countless gatherings and celebrations especially meaningful. Her generous heart also shone through her many years of community service. She was a member of Shrine Thea Court #5 of Columbus, Ohio. She served as president of the Shrine Oriental Golden Sphinx Club of Jefferson County, vice president of the Wintersville Band Boosters, and a volunteer at Our Place of Jefferson County.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Clara and to celebrate the beautiful life she shared with so many.
Visitations will be held Tuesday, September 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, with funeral services at noon. Private burial will be held at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
Though Clara will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the treasured memories she created will continue to bring comfort to all who knew her.
