Carol Ann Lyons, 82, of New Cumberland, WV. Passed away on August 31 with family by her side. She was born on May 6, 1944.
A daughter of Nobel Lewis and Lynn Anderson. Preceded in death by her husband Daniel Lyons, her son Paul Lyons, her step-father Glen Anderson, her brother Melvin Lewis and her sister Suzy Ritchie.
Surviving is her son, Daniel Lyons Jr., daughter Lynn Ellis (Danny Graham) and daughter Becky Lyons. Grandchildren Tom Lyons, Zachary Ellis, Jacob Lyons (Baylee Lamb), and Holly Chuck (Zachary Chuck). Great grandchildren Lilly Ellis, Malia Cox, Zachary Ellis and Hayes Chuck. Her cat, Tiger.
Carol had devoted her life to being a paramedic working into her 70s. Touching the hearts of everyone she met. She was loving, compassionate, and so generous. She always had hugs to give and the words "I love you more" was heard by many. She loved attending Everyday Church on Sunday's. She enjoyed relaxing in her rocking chair on the porch and feeding the deer. She could never pass up a good garage sale. Most of all, she loved being a MeMe.
As Carol would say, God willing and the creek don't rise, visitation will be held on Sunday, September 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nixon Funeral Home in Newell WV. Burial will be private by the family.
