CAROL DAVIS

Carol Anne (Jack) Davis, 78, formerly of Wintersville, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, at Sunnyslope Nursing Home in Bowerston, Ohio, following an extended illness. Born on February 17, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Anna (Karas) Jack.

Carol was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Stanley Kuzbiski of San Antonio, Texas, and David Kuzbiski of Cadiz, Ohio; her daughter, Michelle (Justin) Mandelko of Cadiz, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Tiffany Warner, Brandon Nichols, Trevor (Kayla) Nichols, Mason Nichols, Jacob Kuzbiski, Joseph Kuzbiski, Nicole Davis, Cassie Florczak, and Brittany (Blayne) Zeigler; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Mildred (Gary) Mayhew; her niece, Bobbie Lucas; and her nephew, Miles Mayhew, and great-niece Courtney Mosti.

Carol was a woman of strong faith and was very active in her church. She was a longtime member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond, and later attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wintersville where she was a member of the CWC, St. Francis Society and a Eucharistic Minister.

She found joy in the simple things in life and in making memories with those she loved. Carol enjoyed listening to country music and was an enthusiastic fan of Ohio State football and Cleveland Browns football. She loved spending summer days sitting poolside, dancing at weddings, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

Carol was known for her beautiful smile and happy spirit. She was almost always smiling and often had a camera in her hand, determined to capture the special moments and memories being made around her. Her photographs will serve as a lasting reminder of the love, laughter, and countless memories she shared with her family and friends.

Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her joyful spirit, warm smile, and the memories she so carefully captured will live on forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Gossett will celebrate. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
