MARGARET SKEELES

Margaret "Sis" Florence Skeeles, a loving mother, loyal sister, and devoted friend, passed away on August 5, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was 85 years old.

Born on December 28, 1940, in Toronto, Ohio, Margaret was known to those closest to her simply as "Sis," a name that spoke to the warmth and familiarity she brought to every relationship in her life. She grew up in the close-knit community of Toronto, where she developed the strong sense of loyalty and dedication that would define her throughout her years.

Margaret built a distinguished career as a frozen food buyer, a role in which she demonstrated sharp business acumen and a tireless work ethic. Over the course of her professional life, she earned the respect of colleagues and industry peers alike, ultimately retiring at the age of 58. Her retirement years allowed her to pursue the passions and interests she cherished most, and she embraced that chapter of life with the same enthusiasm she brought to everything she did.

Above all, Margaret was a devoted mother to her daughter, Joan Pendergast, and a steadfast sister and friend to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love was constant, her loyalty unwavering, and her presence a source of comfort and strength to those around her.

Margaret is survived by her beloved daughter, Joan Pendergast; her sisters, Nancy Taggart, Laura Chapa and Cynthia Henry; her brother, Tom Skeeles and stepdaughter Debra Kemp. She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and enduring bonds that will be carried forward by all who knew her.
