Louise Snider

Louise M. Snider, 92, of Steubenville, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24,2026 at Country Club Manor under hospice care. She was born January 23, 1934, to the late David and Louise Forester.

Louise graduated from Steubenville High School and furthered her education at Butler University and Jordan Conservatory of Music. Returning home from college, Louise was active in singing for churches, weddings, and social events, as well as the Steubenville Players Productions. She was the Executive Director of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association. Her passion project was the Steubenville City of Murals, which completed 26 historical murals on downtown buildings and continues to draw in tourists today.

Louise belonged to the Rotary Club of Steubenville, Salvation Army Board of Directors, Civic Music Club, Pilot Club, Jr. and Sr., Women's Club, Jefferson County Philanthropic Foundation, ALIVE Women's Shelter Board of Directors, Steubenville Country Club, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, and the Business and Professional Women's Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Forest and Ella Williams, husbands William R. Snider and Arthur Panepucci, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by daughter Robin Snider-Flohr; step- daughter Margaret (James) Beazel; step-son Bo (Mary Beth) Panepucci, grandchildren Christopher Flohr; step- grandchildren Mary Panepucci and James (Antonella) Beazel and four great-grand children.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31 from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Mosti Funeral Home, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville.
