Jerry Martin Booth, 79, of Wellsburg, WV passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2026, at WVU Wheeling Hospital.
Born October 30, 1946, in New Martinsville, WV, a son of the late James S. and Dana Virginia (Jackson) Booth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Keith Booth.
Jerry graduated from Follansbee High School in 1965 and went on to serve in the Marines in Vietnam. He later retired from Weirton Steel Corporation, where he worked as an electrician and motor inspector.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking in the woods and could be seen waving to all the neighbors while he cut the grass.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Debby (Wright) Booth at home; two devoted children, Eric Booth of Wellsburg, WV and Kerry (David) Rowe of Bloomingdale, OH; a sister-in-law, Debbie Booth of Bloomingdale, OH; a niece, Kristie (Dave) Evans; a nephew, Brian Booth; and several great-nieces and nephews, along with many friends.
Visitation for Jerry will be held on Monday, July 20, from 3 p.m. until time of funeral services at 6 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV with Rev. Carl Tribett, officiating.
Full military honors will be conducted by the Marine Honor Guard and the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
Inurnment will be held privately.
