Barbara Ellen Humbert, 83, of New Cumberland West Virginia passed away July 25, 2026 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1943 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Durward Stanley Hurst and Esther Rosetta (Allen) Hurst. She was preceded in death by her husband James Calvin "Jimbob" Humbert and two brothers Durward Cecil Hurst and William Blaine Hurts II. She was a retired from customer service at Marsh Bellofram. She was a member of the Rebecca Rhododendron Lodge and the NC VFW Women's Auxiliary.
Surviving her are her children Michele (Steve) Wallace and Richard (Amy) Dennis; grandchildren Desiree (Matthew) Harper, Rebekah Dennis, Natalia Dennis, Jennifer (Matthew) Shatzer, Ella Dennis, and Alex Dennis; and a great granddaughter Katya Lozano.
Friends will be received at the Turley Funeral Home LLC on Tuesday July 28, 2026 from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral will be Wednesday July 29, 2026 calling from 10am until time of service at 11a.m with Pastor Toby Wilson officiating.
