James K. Tortis
James K. Tortis, 89, of Weirton and Daytona Beach, FL passed away Sunday May 3, 2026 in Daytona beach of natural causes. Son of Jennie Younciak Tortis and Charles M Tortis Sr.
He is survived by his wife Sally of 66 years, children Jamie and Rick Tortis, sister JoAnne Tortis Wells and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles and Robert Tortis and his sister Mary Jane Tortis Aperfine.
Jim worked for Weirton Steel until retirement and moved to Florida to “live the dream”. He remained a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
