Carol Brown
Carol Sue Brown, 79, of Dillonvale, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville. She was born on October 31, 1946, in Wheeling, the only child of the late Mike and Mary (Kovach) Laskowski. Carol was Lutheran by faith, a member of the Pine Valley Sportsman Club, an avid animal lover, she enjoyed collecting jewelry and beauty products, and watching old movies.
She is survived by a brother-in-law, Jim Brown; a sister-in-law, Karen Dowell; and close friends, Jessica and Joshua Gardner and their family, and Nancy and Jeff Mossor; and her special companion, Little Boy Blue.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Denver Brown; and her son, Michael D. Brown.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am in the funeral home, with Pastor Cody Gaston officiating. Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove.
