VIRGINIA ‘GINNY’ FERRELL

A lifelong Catholic, Ginny was a woman of devout faith, attending Blessed Sacrament in her last years. Beyond her faith, Ginny had a great passion for happy afternoons on the golf course, mainly at Cadiz Country Club with her best friend Peg Buchanan.

Ginny was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, William F. Ferrell, Sr., and her cherished daughter, Susan Wise.

She is survived by her son, William F. (Kathy) Ferrell, Jr. of Greer, SC; her son-in-law, Gene Wise of Groveport, Ohio; and four grandchildren: John (Jamie) Wise of Albany, Ohio; Theresa (Jim) Horst of Galloway, Ohio; Matthew (Tammy) Ferrell of Fountain Inn, SC; and Kacey (Chris) Howard of Glastonbury, CT. She also leaves behind several great-grand children.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 852 Main St, Wintersville, OH 43953. A private family interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Toronto, Ohio.
