MARYBETH COLEMAN

Marybeth was born in Sandusky, Ohio on December 26, 1962. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and Kent State University, where she studied Art Education. She was an artist and especially enjoyed learning to paint icons in recent years.

Marybeth will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, strong faith and joyful spirit. She was admired for her strength, especially during her battle with cancer. Marybeth devoted her life to the intersection of faith, children and art. She was light and love to every person she met.

Marybeth was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Motter (1996). She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Dr. John Coleman, children Nathan (Los Angeles, CA), Emily (Steubenville) and Alex (Reston, VA); Mother, Sheila Motter; and beloved siblings Marla Jeane Maling (Bill, deceased), Allen Motter (Connie) and Adam Motter (Angie). She is also survived by her Father-in-law Tom Coleman; sisters- in-law Kate Picket, Debbie Yoon, Becky Thomas, Michele Coleman and Jenny January; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Mosti Funeral Home, 4435 Sunset Boulevard, Steubenville, Ohio. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2565 Alexander Ave East, Steubenville, Ohio.
