DAVID CHAFIN
David Chafin, 85, of Weirton, passed away on April 9, 2026. He was born on July 17, 1940, the son of the late Lonnie and Jessie Chafin. BVesides his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey and Robert Chafin; three brothers, William, Lonnie and Robert Chafin and a sister, Dixie Fankhauser.
David is survived by two sons, Mark (Deana) Chafin, of Weirton and Jim Chafin, of New Cumberland; two grandchildren, Tyler and Allison and a great grandson Paxton. He is also survived by a sister, Anita Hendricks, of Weirton.
Private services were held by the family. Nixon Funeral Home of Newell was in charge of services.
