SHIRLEY MILEWSKY LUDEWIG
Shirley “Cookie” Milewsky Ludewig, 79, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on March 11, 2026 at Sienna Woods following a lengthy illness. She was born on January 20, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Donald and Stella Moorehead Milewsky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Pepper” Ludewig on July 30, 2023; brother, John “Bill” Milewsky on December 24, 2022; and an infant brother, Edward.
Shirley graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1966. She was retired from Kroger in Wintersville.
Shirley is survived by her brothers Donald Milewsky and Leroy (Clara Sue) Milewsky; nieces, Bridget Milewsky and Jennifer Caranna; and two great-nieces, Raven Chivers and Angel Caranna.
The family would like to thank Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care and Sienna Woods nurses and nurse’s aides for all their kindness and care. Special thanks to Kelly for her love and care, the family appreciates it. The family would also like to thank her special friends Sam Grafton and Joanne Thorne.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Groos officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
