James A. Purviance, 77, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Trinity Medical Center West. He was born on July 11, 1948 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Glenn & Alice Stahl Purviance. James was an Insurance salesman for Western & Southern Life Insurance Company.
James is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Michele Purviance and children Matthew (Kara) Purviance & Amber (Travis) Weaver.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm with additional visitation on Friday from 10:30 am to the time of services at 12 pm with Rev. Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
