GAIL CANELLA COCHRAN

She was born June 4, 1955 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Charles A. and Louella (Glasser) Wright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Terry Canella on September 4, 1978; a sister, Sandy LaRue; and her father-in-law, Preston “Gary” Cochran.

Gail worked as a bartender at the Hillsboro Tavern in Mingo for 21 years, retiring in 2014.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth “Moose” Cochran, whom she married September 20, 2008; a daughter, Melissa (Scott) Canella- Sandusky of Medina, OH; two sisters, Alice (Robert) DeFrank of Wintersville, OH and Linda (Terry) Moss of Weirton, WV; two grandsons, Nico and Angelo Sandusky; her mother-in-law, Monta “Sue” Cochran of Toronto, OH; and two brothers-in-law, David (Brenda) Cochran of Coshocton, OH and Eric Cochran of Toronto, OH.

Friends will be received to celebrate Gail’s life at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH on Wednesday April 1st from 4:00 p.m. until the time of her memorial service at 8:00 p.m. with Kenny Kourim, Jr., officiating.
