ELAINE CHUICH
Elaine M. Chuich, 76, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away on March 18, 2026 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Elaine was born on July 4, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Blaine & Martha Sutton Crawford. She graduated in 1967 from Springfield High School then from Kent State University in 1971 before earning a Master’s degree in Education.
Elaine spent many years as a 2nd grade Teacher at John Gregg Elementary School, where she treated all of her students with love and kindness as if they were her own children.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David W. Chuich; brothers Edward (Colleen) Crawford & Todd Crawford; sister Karen Peters and many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by two sisters Lois Crawford & Wilma Crawford.
As per Elaine’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
