DAVID RAGER

David was born on December 9, 1952 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late James Rager and Dorothy (Taylor) Rager.

David retired after more than 50 years at Weirton Steel Corporation in the Hot Mill. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW in Weirton. He enjoyed classic rock, muscle cars, and was a devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

Most of all, he was a loving father and was very proud of his sons.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Rager.

He is survived by his sons, Brad Rager of Wheeling, WV, Scott Rager and Andrew Rager, both of Wellsburg, WV; a brother, Michael Rager (Stephanie); a sister-in-law, Barbara Rager; and a nephew, Brian Rager.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:00 AM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV.

Interment will be private at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
