CARRIE ZAPOR
Carrie Ann Zapor, born May 14, 1972 in Weirton, WV passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2026, at a far too young of age. Her sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Carrie was a remarkably strong woman whose resilience and spirit inspired those around her. She was a beautiful soul whose smile, laughter and sense of style had a way of lighting up any room. Whether through her kindness, her humor, or her caring nature, Carrie made people feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Albert Zapor. Carrie leaves behind her devoted mother, Margaret (Peg) Gilson Zapor, and her loving sister, Amanda (Steven) Beatty, who will forever cherish her memory along with extended family and friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Though her time here was far too short, Carrie’s warmth, strength, and bright spirit will live on in the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, from 4-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 am at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
