MARY BYERS

Mary was born on August 5, 1941, in Lumberton, NC. She was the daughter of the late James Russell Revels and Trixie (Oxendine) Revels.

Mary was a faithful member of the Hooverson Heights Church of the Nazarene, Follansbee, WV and worked for Ball Corp, Weirton, WV and Gen Pak, Wellsburg, WV.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald H. Byers, three siblings, Jean Demery, James B. Revels and Franklin Revels.

Mary is survived by her three children, David R. Revels and companion, Liz Stevens, Sonya L. Byers and companion, Jim R. Worrell Jr. and Ronald H. Byers II and companion, Vera Eger, all of Follansbee, WV, four grandchildren, Joshua Revels and his wife, Kate Montgomery, Tyler Revels, Jessica Mansfield and Alyssa Chapman and her husband, Cody, seven great grandchildren, Shawn Stevens, Brennen Riggs, Ella, Sophie and Hudson Chapman, and Aurora and Tristan Montgomery-Revels, six siblings, Linda Faye Jacobs, Loretta Jones, Larry Revels, Cathy Revels, Wayne Revels and his wife Cathy and Glenn Revels, a dear friend, Mary Maderia and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wed from 4-7 PM and Thurs from 10 AM till Service at 11 AM at James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 with her Pastor, Ronald McGee, officiating. Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery Haven of Rest, Colliers, WV.
