CATHERINE DiEDWARDS

Catherine was born May 19, 1936 in Steubenville the daughter of the late Jennie Quaigg Wright and Joseph Galownia.

She was a former member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto; was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School and retired as a Nurse’s Aide having been employed at the Weirton Medical Center and Weirton Geriatric Center.

Catherine loved being with her children and grandchildren, loved to cook and bake and loved to travel.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Paul Anthony DiEdwards whom she married June 25, 1955 and who passed March 20, 2025; daughter Donna Biddle who passed away November 4, 2023, a brother, Ronald Miller and grandparents, John and Rachael Quaigg.

Catherine’s family that survives include children Judy DiEdwards, Paul DiEdwards and wife Rene’ and Annette Brown; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Tiffany, Bradley, Lisa, Brandi and John and great-grandchildren, Hailie, Makaela and Baker.

Catherine’s family wishes to thank the folks at Southern Care Hospice and Carrollton Meals on Wheels for the caring and kindness that they extended to Catherine.

Catherine’s arrangements are private and are entrusted to the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
