TERESA HEISS

Teresa Lynn Waggoner Heiss, 71, of Toronto, Ohio passed away peacefully November 13, 2025.

She was born September 7, 1954 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Glenn and Dorothy (Reed) Waggoner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Lavonne (Marvin) Morrison.

To know Teresa was to know a friend. She never knew a stranger. She loved to talk and tell stories with anyone and everyone she met. She enjoyed attending Richmond Methodist Church, was a member off the DAR and loved helping with the Crew House in Richmond. On Friday nights she could be found cheering on the Edison Wildcat football team.

After school she worked at the Hub Tea Room in Steubenville, St. John’s Hospital in dietary, Hosfelt Electronics, and finished up her years with Ossio and Mason Accounting.

Teresa is survived by her son, Michael (sweetest daughter- in-law Sarena) Heiss of Captain Cook, HI; daughter, Tracie (Josh) Waggoner of Bergholz; brother, Michael (Heather) Waggoner of Toronto; grandsons, Levi and Lane Waggoner; and granddaughter sweet, sweet Brenna Heiss; and nephew, Andy Waggoner; and the best neighbors an ‘ol girl could ask for Andy and Brenda Powley and George and Debbie Potkrajac.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Road, Wintersville, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Osage Cemetery.
