JAMES DAVIS
James Earl Davis, 85, of Wintersville, OH passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in Bradenton, FL.
Born February 29, 1940, in Steubenville, OH, he was the son of the late Franklin Earl and Celina (Veight) Davis. He was a dedicated, hardworking man providing for his family and retired after 36 years working for Jefferson Cty. Water Dept. as a Superintendent. James was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, dancing and was a member of the Masonic Order, Eastern Star, PAC and the American Legion.
James is survived by his loving wife of 30yrs, Arlene Sue (McKim) Davis, sons, James and Todd Davis, daughters, Shelley Epstein and Jill Mattingly along with 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 5624 26th St. W, Bradenton, FL, 34207, is in charge of arrangements.
