Neove’s relationships with all family members was always strong. She was always close with her mother Helen and brothers Gus and George, making visits with the kids every week. Her nieces and nephews loved her dearly. Her relationship with her in-laws could not have been stronger. There were frequent visits with Kenneth’s mother and father who loved seeing their grandchildren! Neove’s door was always open for visits from uncles, aunts and cousins from both sides of the family.

Equally strong were her relationships with next door neighbors and friends from Holy Trinity Greek Church. They became part of an extended family, sharing daily conversations about anything and everything.

Neove was the queen of social butterflies. From the time she was a child growing up on McKinley Ave to the last months of her life at the memory care facility where she lived, she always wanted to be with friends so she could laugh and joke, share the ups and downs of life and just feel the love that true friendship holds. Everyone that knew her loved her!

At the moment of her passing, there was a profound look of peace about her face. It was no doubt a peace that came with the greetings from family and friends that were waiting for her in heaven. Our mother, grandmother, aunt and friend … our dearest queen of the social butterflies found a new set of wings.

May her memory be eternal.
