JO SANA MAUL
Jo Sana Maul, 73, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Jo Sana was born on July 1, 1952, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Ernest and Virginia Rensi. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Rensi, a foster brother, Ralph Hennis, and daughter- in-law, Miranda Dennison.
Jo Sana was an excellent homemaker who took great pride in decorating her home for each season. She was also a superb cook, always trying new and different recipes.
She leaves behind her loving husband, James J. Maul, of 34 years; her two sons, Larry (Erika) of Hillard, OH and Joseph (Susie) of Wintersville, OH; her two brothers, Ed (Barbara) Rensi of Venice Beach, FL and Sam (Barbara) Rensi of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Kathy, Leigha, Elaina, Ellie, and Owen; and her great grandchildren, Waylon and Harper.
Family wanted to extend a special thank you to Southern Care Hospice for all of their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. with Pastor Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Indian Creek Foundation, Southern Care Hospice, Hopedale Church of Christ, or St. Agnes Church of Mingo Junction.
